Pre-sales set for newest Great Park-area luxury homes – Orange County Register


Homebuilders Toll Brothers and Lennar are giving buyers their first glimpse of the latest luxury home development near the Orange County Great Park.

A preview is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, for Altair, an 840-home development north of Irvine Boulevard and east of Portola Springs. The homes, with starting prices from $1 million to over $2 million, are being built on a 278-acre parcel overlooking the Great Park. The builders paid developer FivePoint Communities $472 million for the land in October 2015.

The joint venture plans to build 840 luxury houses in 10 neighborhoods, four by Toll Brothers and six by Lennar, said Jeremy Parness, president of Lennar’s Southern California Coastal Division.

Amenities will include parks, links to public trails and a community center with a pool, spa, event space and barbecues. Residences will be multi-story homes…
